The Consulco Group

Consulco Limited, the first company of the Consulco Group, was established on 12 November 1993 in Nicosia, capital of the Republic of Cyprus.
 
The Group has offices in Cyprus, Bulgaria, Greece, Malta, Poland, Romania, Russia and Sweden.   Apart from its extensive offices network, Consulco also has a broad network of representatives throughout Western and Eastern Europe, the CIS and the USA.
 
The primary activity of the Consulco Group is providing tax advice, legal advice, accounting services, audit services and management services to Cypriot and Maltese companies as well as companies in various other jurisdictions. Consulco also offers full banking introductory services, including the opening and maintaining of accounts and applications for credit cards.
 
Since 2003, Consulco has been correspondent member of RSM International (www.rsmi.com), the 6th biggest audit- and tax consultancy network in the world, through Consulco & Partners, Consulco’s licensed audit firm. We provide our clients with accounting and/or audit services in Cyprus, Malta and various other jurisdictions.  Together with RSM Top-Audit, one of the biggest Russian audit firms, we have carried out  international audits for major clients in Russia (for example Tumenenergo, Sverdlovskenergo, Rostovenergo, Krasnoyarskenergo and Permenergo).
 
Consulco continuously strives to develop new tax planning opportunities for its clients. For that reason, Consulco provides services using not only European jurisdictions such as Cyprus, Malta, Denmark, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, and the UK, but also typical offshore jurisdictions such as  the BVI and the Isle of Man.
 
Consulco is the first consultancy group in Cyprus operating a regulated entity specializing in asset management and investment advice: Consulco Financial Services (license number 057/05).

Consulco approaches all its markets in a very proactive manner and organizes around 30 seminars per year in various countries, sometimes jointly with big European commercial banks and law firms. Senior consultants from Consulco take part in international tax, legal and audit conferences. They also frequently publish articles about various aspects of tax- and financial planning in different foreign editions for the international business community, including: Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Financial Mirror, Kommersant-Dengi, Ezh-Yurist, Foreign Capital in Russia, Director-Info, Finance, Law and Economics and the Analytical Banking Journal.
 
Consulco has its own tax planning- and tax product development team, consisting of Western European and Cypriot tax specialists. Rutger Kriek, head of Consulco’s international tax department, has published many articles about international taxation topics in reputable tax magazines, such as International Tax Review and European Union Focus. Rutger is also a contributor to European Tax Service, a leading magazine on international taxation.
 
Consulco was recognized as the best Export company of Cyprus for the year 2003 in the category of "services". The winners were chosen by the Ministry of Finance and the Chamber of Trade, and Mr. Tassos Papadopoulos, the President of the Republic of Cyprus, personally granted the special award to one of the partners on 28 December 2004  (See photo and full information).

Summarizing, the main areas in which Consulco provides services to clients are:

• Opening of bank accounts with European banks for companies and private individuals and assistance in day-to-day banking.
